Ann Huhn-Anderson received her Art-Interior Design degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Currently living in Mound, Minnesota, she practiced commercial interior design for over thirty-five years while continuing to carve out time for her passion in fiber arts.
Her years of design and creative sewing have culminated in rich storied fiber art, to celebrate the beauty of nature’s changing seasons along the shores and in the woods of northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Her multiple styles include different methods of fabrication from hand sewing to machine work. The intricate details compel one to peer close and enjoy the tiny aspects which bring each piece to life.
Ann has had four of her art series published nationally in Art Quilting Studio; has exhibited for The Phipps Center, The Hardy Center and various galleries in Wisconsin, as well as The Textile Center, Lakeville Arts Center and Hopkins Center for the Arts in the Twin Cities.
